Each farm has their own unique mix of vegetables and fruits they grow. Some are chosen based upon the farmer’s strengths and likes, other decisions are the result of years’ worth of member feedback, and still others are chosen for their ability to deliver a uniquely fascinating and fabulous product to the customers. Our decisions are also based on our unique growing conditions and space. We have chosen to prioritize those vegetables that we can grow successfully and consistently in our space. A few vegetables/fruits (potatoes, winter squash, and melons) we have chosen to have partner farms grow for our shares due to space constraints. All of our produce is grown (on our farm and on partner farms) using organic practices.
Our vegetables will change with the seasons, so arugula in the spring becomes greens mix in the summer, and then reappears in the fall. Of course, since we’re working with Mother Nature we can’t guarantee any one of these crops, but here is what we will prioritize in our offering:
arugula, bok choi, baby carrots and beets, radishes, salad turnips, cilantro, peas, scallions, lettuce mix, kale, and chard
Basil, beets, chard, eggplant, garlic, green beans, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, head lettuce, kale, onions, parsley, peppers (sweet and hot), potatoes (grown by a partner farm), salad mix, summer squash (zucchini, patty pan), melons &watermelons (grown by a partner farm), tomatoes, & tomatillos

Additionally, our Fall-Share members will find these items adorning their plates:
brussels sprouts, winter squash (grown by Garden Farme), parsnips, and rutabaga
Some of the fresh herbs we include:
Thyme, Sage, Parsley, Basil, Dill, Mint, Oregano, Cilantro, Tulsi, and many other varieties.
Herbs are generally Pick-Your-Own and our planter boxes full of them will be right next to our pick- up tent.
