Growing Lots: A Unique Urban CSA

We are open for the 2017 season. If you’re interested in being a CSA member this year, fill out an application today!

What makes Growing Lots unique? It’s right in the heart of the city.  You choose your produce and bag it yourself right at the farm. You can chat with the farmers and see your produce growing each time you pick up.

12000904_1197028780314601_4793139158110906202_oGrowing Lots is a 1-acre CSA and market garden based in the Seward neighborhood of South Minneapolis, where we’ve used organic methods to transform three previously vacant urban lots into vibrant, productive green spaces. Members come to our main site on 22nd  and Snelling (off Minnehaha Ave, near Cedar and Franklin Aves) each week during the growing season to enjoy the farm as they pick up their vegetables.

"We chose to live in the middle of the city to be close to all the city has to offer - stores, restaurants, parks, schools, bike paths, and transit all within easy walking distance. We didn't expect to also be able to walk to the farm where our produce is grown! We've enjoyed being able to walk to the farm to pick up our shares and get to know the farmers who grow our food. We're also happy our kids are able to see for themselves where our food comes from." - 2012 CSA member
